Our Meadow Manifesto
Meadowbrook is a special space
rooted in nature.
We invite you to join us.
Come and get stuck
into the good stuff of life.
Stuff that really matters.
Activities that do you good.
Grow something. Make things.
Move more. Play lots.
Rest aplenty.
Gather with others at the land.
Some folks may have health challenges.
Some folks may feel lonely.
But everybody is welcome.
You are invited to come and just be.
Meadowbrook is all about the people and the place.
Both matter. Both deserve to grow and thrive.
Both stand a better chance to do so within a nurturing climate.
Meadowbrook exists to create that climate.
Our hope is that people go from the land feeling better in themselves.
Our commitment is to leave the land better than it was before.
Join Us
Every 3rd Saturday of the month is SATUR-DO-DAY!
Between 11am and 4pm* on these Saturdays, you can drop by and volunteer a little time of your time. Come for 30 mins or the whole time. Do as much or as little as you'd like.
*Keep an eye on our social media posts as we may sometimes need to adjust the times on a Satur-do-day .
Support Us
For just £5 a month (or less) you can subscribe to our 'Out in the Field' blog which includes exclusive content put together by co-founder Grace. This an affordable, fun way to support us and get something lovely in return!
Our Core Values :
Good things are rooted in nature. Discover the pleasure and magic of being part of the growing process-it’s truly a miracle. Feel the earth between your fingers and inhale the fresh air.
MAKE
Everyone is intrinsically creative. Come and make stuff. Write stuff. Hum a tune. Create to feed your soul. Busy your hands. Spark your imagination and unleash your creative streak.
Life is serious enough already.
Give time to things that make you smile. Follow your nose and find the fun.
Play is all about doing nice stuff just for the sheer sake of it.
REST
Ditch the tech for a while. Escape the hustle and bustle and hang out in nature. When you think you can’t spare time for rest – this is when you need it the most.
